Reflection 3

I think that my reading lesson today went great! The children reviewed high frequency words from a short story on flash cards. Then we read the story together and individually several times. The students then traced the high frequency words that they found in the story.

I enjoy teaching reading and I think the students enjoyed it, too.

I still have a hard time teaching two students on the same level and another student who is much lower.

  3. Teaching different ability levels is so under-appreciated. It is so difficult! After this experience at SLP, I think that you can only get better at meeting all levels of ability in the classroom through experience.

  5. I like the idea of tracing sight words. You are well on your way to becoming a great special education teacher!
